I am trying something new out this week for the blog because I want to take this blog in a different direction rather than just beauty, I also wanted to introduce self-care into this blog! This is because I would like to take this blog somewhere else instead of just talking about beauty. And a goal of mine is that you I want my content to be something where you enjoy reading and can relate to!
I want to share a story with you all, ever since COVID happend I’ve been living in my head, like a lot. Now, for me this could wither be daydreaming or about my mental health. So one was the daydreaming which was positive while my mental health was negative. About a week ago I realized I had sort of distanced myself from everyone, I wasn’t really talking to my friends and I was only ever social for school. To be honest it was kind of scary when I realized that. In that moment I realized I need to stop that, I was on Pinterest looking at quotes and they were all about living life to the fullest. It hit me out of the middle of nowhere, I can’t keep living in my head and I need to start living my life to the fullest!
I am sharing this with you because you can create the life you love, instead of trying to escape into a place that isn’t real or focusing on the negatives. I also know it can be hard especially with what’s going on right now in the world to be mentally ok. But this article is just to help you out a bit, and I am just suggesting to you to step by step create days that you love or feel accomplished with! One day start with putting on some makeup, and then maybe trying out a new cooking recipe. Then start living your days to the absolute fullest, your on this Earth for a reason, so why not try to be happy and do the things you love! I think I have always been waiting for that perfect life to come instead of creating it. I also know that life isn’t perfect, but if you focus on the positives, it can feel a lot better, trust me.
My mental health can get in the way, but then I started this blog because I realized I needed a project, something to get me out of my negative patterns and turn my life into something more positive. The blog has helped me so much with my mental health. I suggest starting some sort of project, art, etsy, or anything that excites you, it may help you! Last week I had a break from school so I worked on this blog, and was productive. I stopped living in my head and I am actually proud of a day that I had for the first time in months, and I feel really good about that! In my mind, this was me living my day to the fullest, because of corona I can’t go outside so I am staying indoors doing things that make me feel productive and happy.
If you are always focusing on what you are gonna do next and what’s happening tomorrow you aren’t living your life. Take a moment right now and just appreciate where you are in your life right now!
So, How Can I Live My Life To The Fullest?
I want you to ask yourself right now, what makes you happy?
If you said something like art, or a sport then why don’t you take out just a little but of time every day to do that thing. If you makes you happy why not? It’s taking a little bit of time out of your day to make yourself happy, and that’s very important.
Stop thinking about what others think
Now, I know it’s easier said than done, but learn to love yourself. During this past year being at home so much has made me really decided the kind of person I want to be. I am also more confident, since I am not seeing people as much, I decided to improve on the ways I think of myself. It’s better for you to be confident and happy rather than listening to other peoples opinions and being miserable. I used to always care about what others thought of me and I was miserable. I eventually realized that and stopped, I am a lot happier now because of that!
Work on having a positive mindset
I know this is another thing easier said than done but try thinking positively and focusing on the positive in life rather than the negative. For me, working out and helps me with having a positive mindset! Start your days with a positive mindset and I am sure you will feel more fulfilled!
Appreciate the little things
Instead of always trying to focus on the bigger picture in life maybe try to focus on the little things. The stars, sunsets, nature, flowers, and birds are all examples. I catch myself doing this sometimes, only focusing on the future and what was gonna happen next instead of living in the moment. If you really want to you can write down each time to see a little thing that you appreciate. Then you can look back at all the little things you appreciate about your life!
Be your own best friend
Now, I know this sounds weird but seriously, make sure you put yourself first especially if you are always taking care of everyone. Make sure you are healthy and asking yourself what you need!
Take care of yourself
This is a big factor in making sure you are happy and loving your life. Things such as working out, and taking care of your mental health, have a big impact on yourself. If you feel like you need help, that’s completely ok, never feel bad asking for help.
Be willing to forgive yourself
This is something I am mentioning because in order to move on you need to forgive yourself. Forgiving yourself is great because then you will be in order to move on all live your life to the fullest!
Wow ok, I have these motivation quotes on my phone and while I was writing this! And it’s about living your life to the fullest, there’s your sign right there! There’s so much beauty in life and there’s so much for you to see and experience! Rainy days, sunsets, songs, long car rides, traveling, and sunsets!
