Skin tints offer light to medium coverage on your skin. Why I love it is because it’s a time saver that is incredibly easy to use. They also provide fairly buildible coverage. Did I mention it also feels like nothing is on your face! Personally, it’s just what I need, and I love it.
How Do I Use Skin Tints?
- Prep your skin: This means doing your skincare, applying primer, and doing any additional prep you normally do.
- Hydraytion: You’re going to need a hydrayted base in order for it to work well. I like to spray rose water on my skin around 3 minutes before starting!
- Apply the skin tint: I’ve found that around 4 dots is all I need to cover my face but feel free to apply however much you’d like.
- Blending: The lady at the store advised to use a sponge to blend it out. I feel like it’s a lot easier to work with this way. I’ve tried it out with a makeup brush but a sponge is more effective. (4 dots only takes me around 2 minutes to fully blend it out)
- Continue with your makeup routine!
This is what I looked like after doing a full face with this product:
The one I picked up from Ulta is by Bare Minerals and it’s also an SPF 30 sunscreen at the same time! This product has a variety of shades but I’d recommend going in-person to a store to shade match. Bare Minerals is also a cruelty-free makeup brand.
