1. Washing your face
Your skin needs this every day but during the summer it’s important to keep your skin clean. This is because during this time of the year your skin can get oiler. If you have dry skin try out a nonfoaming cleanser! Here is my blog post for the cleanser I use. I use the La Roche Posay face wash, and I have sensitive combination skin. This face wash works so well and I recommend trying out this one if you are looking for a new one!

This is a big part of skincare but during the summer exfoliation is important! This is because during the summer you need something that is able to remove the dirt and oils trapped in your skin.
Some additional benefits of exfoliating are:
- Unclogs pores
- helps anti aging
- brighter skin
You can exfoliate twice a week, here is my blog post that goes more in-depth on it!
I recommend this facial scrub:

Sunscreen is very important! This is because it can help prevent sun spots, reduces the risk of getting skin cancer, signs of aging (fine lines and wrinkles), and protecting your skin from sunburn! SPF 30-50 is recommended during the summer.
4. Eat Lot’s of Fruits
Eating lots of fruits during the summer months can help with keeping your skin hydrated! The benefits of eating fruits for your skin are hydration. Coconut water is also another option.
5. Make Sure To Moisturize!
Moisturizing is a big part of keeping your skin healthy during the summer. Don’t just moisturize your face also moisturize your legs, arms, and body!
These are the moisturizers I use:
This is the Heritage Store one, I’ve been using this brand since I was little and I love it! This spray also works before applying makeup and it’s a great skin refresher.
Heritage Store Lavender Flower Water | Benefits Skin, Hair & More | Aromatherapy Mist Spray | 8 fl ozThe cream I use is this one, I have found that compared to the original since it’s oil free it’s been better for my skin!
Cetaphil Face Moisturizer, Daily Oil-Free Hydrating Face Lotion with Hyaluronic Acid, 3 Oz Package May Vary6. Sheet Masks
Try out sheet masks to cool your skin down during the summer since it can get very hot! I like to do this since where I live gets pretty hot, so when it does I will use a sheet mask to cool my skin down! Here is my blog post on how to keep your skin cool during the summer heat for more info.
TONYMOLY Super Food Mask Bowl, 0.74 oz7. Ice Roller
This is another way to keep your skin cool when it gets hot. What a ice roller does is it:
calms puffiness redness, and inflammation!
