How To Apply Eyeshadow As Eyeliner!

Have you ever wanted to try out eyeliner but were too scared to use liquid? This hack is perfect for beginners, and since I am a beginner with eyeliner I thought why not share this with you! I made this trick up, or at least I think I did. So far I haven’t seen it anywhere. I am gonna tell you all the things you need to get started so let’s get into it!

Steps:

1. Apply your eyeshadow, I recommend doing this first so you don’t mess up your makeup look! If you are doing this your first time I recommend using just one color, but it’s up to you!
2. What you’re gonna do is get an eye makeup brush, try to get the smallest one you can find.
3. Now that you have your brush I want you to get close to a mirror, you can start creating the eyeliner on your waterline.
4. Get black, or any color you prefer for your eyeliner. (I recommend black since it’s the easiest one to work in my opinion rather than using color or a shimmer.)
5. Dab the brush into the eyeshadow and while your eyes are squinted apply the eyeshadow. Make sure to look closely in the mirror so you can get every part of your eye!
6. Make sure to take your time so you don’t stab your eye. That happened to me the second time I did it, lol.
7. Continue with the lower part of your eyelid then move to the top, and what I do is blend the black into my lashes, which looks for me. If you don’t have thick eyelashes continue with the line.
8. Ta da, you’re done! Eyeliner really makes me feel really pretty and confident and I hope it does for you too!

Additional Tips:

• After the first coat of eyeliner dries (which is around 5 minutes after) apply a second, and then wait, and do that again a third time. That’s how the coat is so dark in this photo! (This photo is unedited by the way, I just stood by the window and took the photo!)
• The smaller the brush, the better! This is so you can really get on your waterline to get the cleanest eyeliner look!
• If you have a thing for eyeshadow shimmers like me, then I recommend using gold! It looks stunning on any skin tone and absolutely amazing with black! I will have the gold I use linked below!
• Make sure to clean your brushes regularly, you should be cleaning your brushes especially eye makeup brushes so that you don’t transfer germs onto your eye!
