Today I will be reviewing the E.l.f. X Tiana Major9 Eyeshadow Pallette! I was at Target the other day and this caught my eye so I decided to purchase it. This eyeshadow palette really does stand out from others it has a really different variety too! There’s everything from mattes to shimmers, the shimmers are also incredibly pigmented. Like, I was a bit shocked to be getting this type of pigment from this palette! Now, I am going to be reviewing the pallet!
First Impression!
As you can see from the photo above this pallet is beautiful, I literally love the variety of shades included! If you’ve been reading my blog for a while you know that I like to mostly stick to mattes and gold for eyeshadow. Pretty basic, I know. But when I saw this pallet I decided to go out of my comfort zone a bit, I know that the variety of shade really stood out so I decided to get it!
Let’s Talk About The Shades
Mattes apply well, they are easy to use, I would give it a 9/10! The matte pigments are pretty good and the formula is great! I will say though, these shades can be found in any other palette. The thing that stands out with this palette is the shimmers, but I think it’s nice to have both basic and bold shades in this palette. For example, I love basic eyeshadow, but if I feel like switching it up and I have this palette with me, I’ll be able to up my look! This is another reason why I like this eyeshadow palette!
The shimmers are STUNNING! That is one word on how I would describe it, they literally stand out so much too. It’s beautiful, the shimmers will not work with an eyeshadow brush. You need to use your fingers to apply the shadow but it comes out so pigmented and it’s honestly amazing quality. I was a bit shocked, to be honest, the price is amazing for the quality of these pigments! I wouldn’t be surprised if I bought this pallet from a higher-end brand the quality is what really sets it apart from the rest!
Now, let us take a look at the shades. I am going to be over them, you can also look at the photo below for reference while I talk about a few of the shimmers!
Winter Hiver: This one really stuck out to me! This blue is insanely pigmented, when applying go over it twice and it’s going to give you a beautiful finish. This is a 10/10! (Remember to use your finger to apply the eyeshadow!)
Gold Coin: I needed to go over this shade! If you know me you know I am a sucker for gold makeup, it’s just so stunning. This pigment is amazing I would say this is like the spot-on shade for gold! Pretty cool in my opinion, it’s mostly yellow-pigmented too. I am going to rate this 9/10!
Pound Coin: I’m sure this shade stuck out to you while you were looking over this pallet! It definitely caught my eye too, this is definitely an interesting shade! It appears as a bronzy color in the palette, but when you apply it, it’s actually totally different. A few colors are going on, the shimmer in this shade is bright green but it’s mixed with bronze. I would say personally this is definitely a shade that would be out of my comfort zone! I think since this is one of my first times with a bolder shade it looks a bit weird on me but maybe it’s just my imagination. I would rate this shade 7/10!
Shy Timide: This is such a pretty shade of pink, it’s so unique too! The base shade is pink but the shimmer is mixed with pink and purple. It’s so pretty I love it! I am going to give it a 10/10!
Here is a photo I took with that shade:

Elf Tiana Major9 Eyeshadow Palette
Overall, yes I am recommending this because the shimmers, elf honestly popped off with this palette with those! The shadows stay all day and only smudge off a tiny bit, it’s not enough to notice though. I would rate this 9.5/10! If you are looking to treat yourself to something get this eyeshadow palette it’s definitely worth it!
