Today we will be going over morning routines and I will give you a realistic one that you can implement into your everyday routine! I know that a lot of people (including myself) have busy mornings and might want to feel a bit calmer and organized when starting the day. I am not going to make a totally detailed 20 step morning routine because it isn’t realistic so I am going to make one that has fewer steps, but this way you can take your time instead of trying to rush through each thing! Ok, let’s get into it!
I think the key to feeling good when you wake up is going to bed early, I know it sounds simple but going to bed early can actually have a big affect on the next day.
Give Yourself time
I would say if you give yourself one and a half to two hours before you have to leave your home. I also put this amount so you have enough time to do everything and you can take your time! When you wake up also try to avoid social media or your phone altogether, this way when you turn on the phone you see all the notifications and you may stay in bed longer than you should because you are trying to respond to people or are scrolling through social media.
Make your bed (5 minutes)
This is a great way to start your day because you have already completed a task, so you will feel more accomplished!
Brush Your Teeth And Preparing Breakfest (20 minutes)
After you brush your teeth you can maybe play some music while you are making breakfast or you can have a piece of fruit if you plan on working out. You could also make yourself some lemon water, it has many benefits such as giving you a healthy dose of Vitamin C, and helps you stay hydrated!
Working out (15-30 minutes)
Working out is a great way to start the day because you will feel more energized and motivated! You don’t have to have all this fancy equipment either, all you need is a device and just search up “no equipment workout” on YouTube and you’ll find tons of videos! If you are just beginning than I would say start with a 15-30 minute workout so you can keep up with the next days.
Take a shower (15-30 minutes including skincare)
After working out I bet you would want to shower so you can do that now! If you did a workout and decided to have a piece of fruit instead of a meal then now is the time to have your breakfast!
Makeup or Anything Else With Remaining Time
You now have the rest of your time to do makeup or anything else before you leave for the day or have to go to work or school. Don’t forget to feed your pets if you have them too!
Some Ideas:
Mediation (this is a great relaxing way to start the day!)
Journaling
Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed this routine!
